THE ABSTRACT
On the basis of a finite-element method the deflected mode four types of aluminium cells casing is investigated: all-welded frame ring casing, composite frame ring construction of a casing, box frame casing and skeleton construction of a casing. Their comparative analysis of the strength characteristics is carried out. The essential dependence of these characteristics from the design decisions, incorporated on a design stage of construction, is shown. The feature of the strained state of investigated casings types are described and the areas of metal construction, most dangerous from the point of view of destruction, are revealed.
