METHOD OF FORMING SODERBERG ANODE OF ALUMINIUM REDUCTION POT, including the supply of dry anode paste, containing 20-32 % of binder, into the anode shell of rectangular configuration to be put onto the anode surface on which there are rows of current conducting studs, and the supply of the paste with increased content of binder for filling the studs holes, formed during their re-arrangement, wherein the paste for filling the studs holes takes place in those parts of anode which are adjacent to long sides of anode shell, the width of these parts being defined based on the arrangement of current conductive studs on the anode surface, equal to 0.15-0.35 anode width, each; and dry paste is supplied into the middle part of anode

2. The method of claim 1 wherein the filling of anode parts, adjacent to the long sides of anode shell, is carried out with paste, containing binder, on 2?10% exceeding its quantity in the paste, being supplied into the middle part of anode
