THE ABSTRACT
Multiple-factor influence of various parameters on durability of an aluminium cell cathode design requires the consecutive decision of an optimisation task of cathode devices. The first stage of optimisation can be definition is intense - is deformed condition cathode shell at a variation of geometrical parameters and mechanical properties of constructional elements.
The carried out researches allow to make as a first approximation most rational choice of variant of a design of aluminium cell cathode devices and to specify directions of their optimisation on the basis of settlement methods and practical experience.
